Commercial vehicles in use in Bangladesh: Diminution in 2015

Commercial vehicles in use fell by 6.24% in comparison to the prior year, according to adjusted statistics announced by OICA. Commercial vehicles in use declined by 15.98 thousand units, in contrast to the previous year when it climbed by 8.86 percent. The overall changes for the prior 11 years attained an increase of 70.21%. Likewise, it has had a 0.03% compound annual growth rate over the last five years with a modest overall growth since the start of observations. It averaged 188.53 thousand units from 2005 to 2015 and it reached its all-time high of 255.98 thousand units in 2014 and record low of 141 thousand units in 2005.
