Import of medicaments of other antibiotics not packaged for retail sale to Poland: Growth in 2016

According to revised numbers announced by European Commission, the indicator climbed strongly by 305.35 percent in 2016. Antibiotic import sharply increased from 1 571 050 Euro to 6 368 310 Euro, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it rose by 16.63%. It shows the all-time high since 2002. The overall changes for the prior 15 years attained a raise of 272.47%. Besides, it has shown an increase at a 0.38 percent compound annual growth rate over the five years with a slight overall rise since the start of observations. It averaged 2 004 108.67 Euro from 2002 to 2016 and it hit its minimum of 706 430 Euro in 2003.
