Export of spades and shovels from Mexico: Fall in 2017

Construction equipment export went down sharply by 45.19% in 2017, according to data published by United Nations Statistical Office. Construction equipment export strongly decreased by 5 359 875 kilogram, compared with the previous year when it increased by 36.47 percent. Mexico saw a growth of 896.14% in construction equipment export over the past 28 years. Though, it has had a negative compound average annual growth rate of 0.01 percent during the 5 years with a modest overall raise since the 1990. It averaged 4 021 487.68 kilogram from 1990 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 11 860 455 kilogram in 2016 and record low of 202 964 kilogram in 1994.
