Export of textile straining cloth used in oil presses from Thailand: Decline in 2016

Compared with the prior year textile export fell strongly by 93.79 percent, adjusted numbers from United Nations Statistical Office present. The variable greatly dropped by 8 510 kilogram, in comparison with the previous year when it grew by 314.86 percent. Thailand saw an increase of 2 715% in textile export over the past 28 years. Still it has had a negative compound average annual growth rate of 0.38 percent over the five years with a negligible overall growth since the 1989. It averaged 3 294.14 kilogram from 1989 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 17 548 kilogram in 2004 and record low of 20 kilogram in 1989.
