Export of sanitary towels and tampons, napkins and napkin liners for babies from Ethiopia: Decrease in 2016

According to data published by United Nations Statistical Office, consumer goods export fell sharply by 96.22% in comparison to the year before. The indicator greatly diminished by 2 829 kilogram, in comparison with the prior year when it increased by 534.99%. The overall changes for the previous 13 years attained a diminution of 95.8%. Likewise, it has shown a 0.51 percent average annual growth rate over the last five years with a slight overall drop since the 2004. It averaged 603.62 kilogram from 2004 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 2 940 kilogram in 2015 and record low of 14 kilogram in 2012.
