Export of rum and tafia from New Zealand drops in 2017

According to adjusted statistics announced by United Nations Statistical Office, compared to the same time an year ago the indicator diminished strongly by 79.83%. Rum export fell greatly by 119 789 kilogram, in comparison with the prior year when it increased by 10.09%. The overall changes for the previous 29 years reached a raise of 235.05%. Still it has shown a decline at a 0.26% average annual growth rate during the last 5 years with a negligible overall increase since the 1989. It averaged 164 052.66 kilogram from 1989 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 469 527 kilogram in 2003 and record low of 9 036 kilogram in 1989.
