Production of hydrogen chloride (hydrochloric acid) in France drops in 2017

According to numbers presented by European Commission, in comparison to the previous year hydrochloric acid production decreased by 7.93%. The variable fell by 18 768 160 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it diminished by 7.65 percent. The overall changes for the previous 22 years reached a decrease of 48.69%. Furthermore, it has shown a drop at a 0.06% CAGR during the five years with a marginal overall fall since the 1996. It averaged 220 346 844.36 kilogram from 1996 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 509 603 008 kilogram in 1997 and record low of 151 072 240 kilogram in 2011.
