Liquefied petroleum gas demand in Chile goes up in May 2018

In May 2018 the variable climbed by 23.08 percent, according to statistics published by JODI Data. The indicator increased from 908.7 thousand barrels to 1 118.4 thousand barrels, contrarily to the prior month when it decreased by 19.59%. When considering the prior year, it can be diagnosed that the variable was growing by 16.48 percent and reached 1 234.9 thousand barrels in May. Year-on-year, this shows a -9.43% change between May 2017 and the same month in 2018. The overall changes for the previous 16 years hit a growth of 65.52%. As well as the liquefied petroleum gas demand is now above average of 1 064.76 thousand barrels with a sharp overall increase since the 2002. It attained its all-time high of 1 735.85 thousand barrels in July 2007 and record low of 372.8 thousand barrels in January 2007.
