Refined lead production in Japan rises in 2014

According to new statistics published by U.S. Geological Survey, lead production rose by 14.29% compared to the previous year. The indicator climbed by 30 000 metric ton, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it went up by 0.48%. Japan saw a decrease of 20.56% in lead production during the last 17 years. Furthermore, it has shown an increase at a 0.02% average annual growth rate during the five years with a marginal overall decline since the start of time series. It averaged 262 883.65 metric ton from 1998 to 2014 and it reached its all-time high of 311 678 metric ton in 2000 and record low of 192 196 metric ton in 2009.
