Refined lead production in Japan increases in 2014

The indicator increased by 14.29 percent in comparison to the prior year, new numbers from U.S. Geological Survey present. Lead production climbed by 30 000 metric ton, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it grew by 0.48%. The overall changes for the prior 17 years reached a drop of 20.56%. Furthermore, it has attained a growth at a 0.02 percent compound average annual growth rate over the last five years with a negligible overall decrease since the 1998. It averaged 262 883.65 metric ton from 1998 to 2014 and it hit its all-time high of 311 678 metric ton in 2000 and record low of 192 196 metric ton in 2009.
