Export of parts of slide fasteners from Philippines: Fall in 2017

Consumer goods export dropped strongly by 99.52 percent in comparison with the previous year, new numbers from United Nations Statistical Office reveal. It's new all-time low since 1996 as consumer goods export greatly decreased from 3 353 kilogram to 16.1 kilogram, in comparison to the previous year when it went up by 6.38 percent. The overall changes for the prior 22 years hit a drop of 99.99%. Likewise, it has shown a negative average annual growth rate of 0.6 percent over the 5 years with a modest overall decline since the start of time series. It averaged 28 117.6 kilogram from 1996 to 2017 and it reached its maximum of 189 349 kilogram in 1997.
