Kaolin production in Sri Lanka climbs in 2014

According to refreshed data released by U.S. Geological Survey, clay production climbed hardly by 0.08 percent compared with the prior year. The indicator barely went up from 12 990 metric ton to 13 000 metric ton, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it grew by 10.04 percent. It indicates the all-time peak since 1998. The overall changes for the prior 17 years hit an increase of 17.01%. As well as it has shown a 0.1% compound average annual growth rate over the five years with a modest overall rise since the start of observations. It averaged 10 614.82 metric ton from 1998 to 2014 and it reached its minimum of 8 207 metric ton in 2010.
