Number of direct debit transfers per inhabitant in Brazil: Decline in 2017

Bank for International Settlements announced that direct debit transfers number diminished barely by 2.94 percent in 2017. The indicator declined slightly from 25.89 in 2016 to 25.13 previous year, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it decreased by 2.45 percent. The overall changes for the previous 9 years attained a growth of 14.07%. Furthermore, the direct debit transfers number is now bigger than its average which equals 23.64 and the variable indicates a strong overall rise since the start of time series. It hit its all-time high of 27.41 in 2014 and record low of 18.33 in 2010.
