Export of railway and tramway axles, wheels and parts from Brazil: Diminution in 2017

Railway equipment export strongly diminished by 33.18% in 2017, refreshed numbers from United Nations Statistical Office show. Railway equipment export fell greatly from 12 971 811 kilogram in 2016 to 8 667 605 kilogram previous year, contrarily to the prior year when it went up by 16.29%. The overall changes for the previous 29 years reached a decline of 69.66%. Likewise, it has shown a decrease at a 0.04 percent compound annual growth rate over the last 5 years with a marginal overall fall since the 1989. It averaged 14 878 705.69 kilogram from 1989 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 28 566 902 kilogram in 1989 and record low of 5 832 426 kilogram in 1996.
