Re-export of fertilizers containing phosphorus and potassium from United States decreases in 2017

Fertilizer export strongly went down by 75.93% compared to the prior year, according to figures published by United Nations Statistical Office. The indicator sharply dropped from 134 000 kilogram to 32 257 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it decreased by 32.32%. It's new all-time minimum since 2008. United States saw a diminution of 64.55% in fertilizer export during the last 10 years. Moreover, it has shown a negative compound annual growth rate of 0.42 percent during the 5 years with a marginal overall drop since the start of time series. It averaged 169 625.7 kilogram from 2008 to 2017 and it reached its maximum of 477 000 kilogram in 2013.
