Crude oil imports in Egypt: Rise in June 2018

The variable slightly went up by 2.83 percent in June 2018, according to refreshed numbers published by JODI Data. The indicator rose barely from 637 thousand tonnes to 655 thousand tonnes, as it follows the tendency of the prior month when it grew by 115.2 percent. The data reached 572 thousand tonnes in June 2017, which is a -2.89% change in comparison to the previous month of the same year. Between June 2017 and June 2018, the figures pinpoint a 14.51% variation. The overall changes for the previous 16 years hit a raise of 835.71%. Besides, the crude oil imports is now above average of 239.4 thousand tonnes with a sharp overall rise since the start of observations. It attained its all-time high of 959 thousand tonnes in November 2016 and record low of 10 thousand tonnes in September 2013.
