Lead in concentrates production in Bulgaria: Increase in 2014

According to statistics announced by U.S. Geological Survey, lead production grew by 6.34 percent in comparison to the prior year. The variable increased by 1 014 metric ton, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it went up by 11.28%. Bulgaria saw a diminution of 29.75% in lead production over the past 17 years. Moreover, it has attained the compound annual growth rate of 0.07 percent during the last five years with a slight overall decline since the 1998. It averaged 15 488.94 metric ton from 1998 to 2014 and it hit its all-time high of 24 200 metric ton in 1998 and record low of 10 000 metric ton in 2006.
