New vehicles registrations in Turkey drops in 2017

Vehicle registration barely dropped by 2.72 percent in 2017, according to data presented by OICA. The indicator went down hardly by 27 463, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it fell by 0.33 percent. Turkey saw a rise of 37.08% in vehicle registration during the last 13 years. Likewise, it has attained a 0.02 percent compound average annual growth rate over the 5 years with a slight overall raise since the start of observations. It averaged 778 640 from 2005 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 1 011 194 in 2015 and record low of 494 355 in 2008.
