Re-import of transformers electric having a power handling capacity of 16-500 kva to South Africa decreases in 2016

According to data presented by United Nations Statistical Office, the variable diminished greatly by 39.46% in comparison with the previous year. Electronic component import sharply decreased from 1 039 kilogram in 2015 to 629 kilogram prior year, versus the previous year when it climbed by 14.3 percent. South Africa saw a growth of 168.8% in electronic component import during the last 15 years. Still it has shown a negative compound annual growth rate of 0.46% over the last 5 years with a negligible overall increase since the 2002. It averaged 2 285.4 kilogram from 2002 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 13 510 kilogram in 2012 and record low of 51 kilogram in 2008.
