Export of drilling, threading or tapping tools from Namibia falls in 2016

In comparison to the prior year construction equipment export dropped by 25.28%, according to revised data released by United Nations Statistical Office. The variable diminished from 7 429 kilogram in 2015 to 5 551 kilogram previous year, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it decreased by 80.14%. Namibia saw a rise of 119.06% in construction equipment export over the past 17 years. However, it has shown a drop at a 0.31% compound annual growth rate during the five years with a modest overall diminution since the start of time series. It averaged 24 593 kilogram from 2000 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 147 996 kilogram in 2002 and record low of 317 kilogram in 2004.
