Import of refined soya-bean oil to Latvia: Fall in 2017

European Commission announced that the indicator went down by 24.03% in comparison to the prior year. Soybean oil import dropped by 266 300 Euro, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it decreased by 15.55%. It hit its 17-year minimum. Latvia saw a diminution of 87.65% in soybean oil import over the past 17 years. Furthermore, it has shown a negative compound average annual growth rate of 0.23 percent during the five years with a slight overall drop since the 2001. It averaged 6 409 785.29 Euro from 2001 to 2017 and it attained its maximum of 12 134 590 Euro in 2002.
