Import of buttons of plastics, not covered with textile to Mozambique drops in 2016

According to numbers released by United Nations Statistical Office, consumer goods import declined greatly by 93.49 percent in 2016. The variable dropped sharply from 6 792 kilogram in 2015 to 442 kilogram prior year, compared with the previous year when it went up by 232.45 percent. The overall changes for the prior 17 years reached a decrease of 55.35%. Likewise, it has had a negative compound average annual growth rate of 0.44% over the five years with a negligible overall increase since the 2000. It averaged 3 909.71 kilogram from 2000 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 27 929 kilogram in 2004 and record low of 3 kilogram in 2011.
