Import of yarn of artificial staple fibres not packaged for retail sale to Romania falls in 2017

The indicator decreased by 12.66 percent in comparison with 2016, according to adjusted figures released by European Commission. Yarn import diminished by 208 300 kilogram, contrarily to the previous year when it rose by 5.03 percent. Romania saw a growth of 38.19% in yarn import over the past 15 years. Furthermore, it has shown a 0.09% CAGR during the 5 years with a slight overall increase since the start of observations. It averaged 1 316 360 kilogram from 2003 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 1 645 900 kilogram in 2016 and record low of 952 200 kilogram in 2013.
