Re-import of railway maintenance-of-way service vehicles to Canada: Fall in 2016

United Nations Statistical Office reported that compared to the previous year railway transport import strongly declined by 69.17%. Railway transport import went down sharply by 19 095 kilogram, in contrast to the prior year when it went up by 173.5%. Canada saw a rise of 425 350% in railway transport import over the past 17 years. Furthermore, it has had a 0.25% CAGR during the last five years with a slight overall raise since the 2000. It averaged 10 850.47 kilogram from 2000 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 29 627 kilogram in 2011 and record low of 1 kilogram in 2001.
