Tungsten production in Peru: Increase in 2015

According to statistics announced by U.S. Geological Survey, tungsten production sharply rose by 80.33% in comparison with one year earlier. The indicator strongly grew from 61 metric ton to 110 metric ton, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it went up by 117.86 percent. Peru saw a growth of 44.74% in tungsten production during the last 18 years. However, it has attained a diminution at a 0.24% CAGR over the last 5 years with a marginal overall rise since the start of observations. It averaged 164.17 metric ton from 1998 to 2015 and it attained its all-time high of 571 metric ton in 2010 and record low of 20 metric ton in 2003.
