Compared to the year before flax yarn import climbed by 12.96%, according to new figures issued by European Commission. Flax yarn import increased by 1 974 620 Euro, contrarily to the prior year when it declined by 25.63%. The overall changes for the previous 16 years hit a decline of 31.86%. Likewise, it has shown the CAGR of 0.01% during the last five years with a modest overall drop since the start of observations. It averaged 24 453 319.13 Euro from 2001 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 37 317 520 Euro in 2003 and record low of 12 495 890 Euro in 2009.
