Flax yarn import fell by 13.41% in comparison to the previous year, according to refreshed data published by European Commission. The indicator declined by 2 308 350 Euro, compared to the prior year when it climbed by 12.96 percent. France saw a decline of 41% in flax yarn import during the last 17 years. Besides, it has had a negative compound average annual growth rate of 0.03 percent during the last five years with a negligible overall fall since the start of observations. It averaged 23 891 510.35 Euro from 2001 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 37 317 520 Euro in 2003 and record low of 12 495 890 Euro in 2009.
