Sold production of common clays and shales for construction use in Spain: Decrease in 2016

European Commission announced that clay sold production slightly went down by 0.01 percent in 2016. The indicator barely dropped by 495 616 kilogram, in contrast to the prior year when it climbed by 7.45%. The overall changes for the previous 11 years hit a decline of 67.53%. Besides, it has attained the compound annual growth rate of 0.01% over the last five years with a negligible overall fall since the start of observations. It averaged 13 144 840 482.91 kilogram from 2006 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 29 585 102 848 kilogram in 2007 and record low of 1 329 490 048 kilogram in 2009.
