Export of handkerchiefs of cotton from Uganda: Decline in 2016

According to new data released by United Nations Statistical Office, in 2016 apparel export strongly went down by 97.04%. The indicator sharply diminished by 6 626 US Dollar, in contrast to the prior year when it grew by 1 290.63%. Uganda saw a rise of 2 144.44% in apparel export during the last 8 years. Though, it has attained a drop at a 0.26% compound annual growth rate during the last five years with a modest overall raise since the 2009. It averaged 941.25 US Dollar from 2009 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 6 828 US Dollar in 2015 and record low of 9 US Dollar in 2009.
