Import of fresh or chilled whole halibut to Russia: Diminution in 2017

According to numbers announced by United Nations Statistical Office, the variable strongly fell by 88.1 percent in comparison with the prior year. Halibut import dropped sharply by 296 kilogram, contrarily to the previous year when it went up by 22.18%. The overall changes for the prior 22 years hit a decrease of 99.89%. Moreover, it has shown a negative compound annual growth rate of 0.64% during the last five years with a marginal overall drop since the start of observations. It averaged 5 985.32 kilogram from 1996 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 40 541 kilogram in 2004 and record low of 30 kilogram in 1999.
