Export of penicillins or streptomycins in dosage forms from Costa Rica falls in 2016

United Nations Statistical Office reported that the variable decreased negligibly by 1.13 percent in comparison with one year earlier. The indicator hardly dropped from 24 448 kilogram in 2015 to 24 171 kilogram previous year, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it declined by 51.1 percent. Costa Rica saw a decline of 98% in pharmaceutical export over the past 23 years. Likewise, it has attained a decrease at a 0.15 percent average annual growth rate over the five years with a negligible overall drop since the 1994. It averaged 127 270.48 kilogram from 1994 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 1 207 683 kilogram in 1994 and record low of 2 535 kilogram in 1999.
