Import of medicaments of other antibiotics packaged for retail sale to Italy increases in 2017

According to statistics presented by European Commission, compared to the prior year the indicator increased by 12.13%. Antibiotic import rose from 349 860 576 Euro in 2016 to 392 309 312 Euro previous year, in comparison with the prior year when it went down by 7.56%. Italy saw an increase of 362.88% in antibiotic import during the last 23 years. Though, it has attained a negative CAGR of 0.07 percent over the last five years with a modest overall rise since the 1995. It averaged 359 701 373.91 Euro from 1995 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 562 666 240 Euro in 2013 and record low of 84 754 464 Euro in 1995.
