Export of corks, crown of base metal from Burkina Faso drops in 2016

Compared to the previous year consumer goods export declined by 7.98 percent, new statistics from United Nations Statistical Office display. The indicator fell by 3 126 US Dollar, compared with the prior year when it climbed by 112.79%. Burkina Faso saw a rise of 8 191.49% in consumer goods export over the past 19 years. Furthermore, it has attained the compound average annual growth rate of 0.29 percent over the last five years with a marginal overall growth since the 1998. It averaged 12 609.74 US Dollar from 1998 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 49 963 US Dollar in 2013 and record low of 435 US Dollar in 1998.
