Secondary refined lead production in Mexico decreases in 2014

According to refreshed data published by U.S. Geological Survey, in comparison to the previous year lead production dropped greatly by 35 percent. Lead production strongly went down by 105 000 metric ton, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it fell by 0.99%. The overall changes for the previous 17 years hit a growth of 1 850%. Besides, it has attained a 0.02 percent average annual growth rate over the last 5 years with a negligible overall increase since the start of time series. It averaged 146 882.35 metric ton from 1998 to 2014 and it reached its all-time high of 303 000 metric ton in 2012 and record low of 10 000 metric ton in 1998.
