Raw silk exports in China: Rise in 2016

China National Statistical Office announced that in comparison to the year before raw silk exports slightly climbed by 3.47%. The variable grew barely by 232.06 ton, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it rose by 5.28%. The overall changes for the prior 23 years hit a decrease of 46.96%. Furthermore, it has had a diminution at a 0.02% compound annual growth rate during the 5 years with a slight overall fall since the start of time series. It averaged 10 346.58 ton from 1994 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 14 701 ton in 2002 and record low of 6 359.31 ton in 2014.
