Export of cyanides and cyanide oxides of sodium from India: Decrease in 2017

Export of cyanides and cyanide oxides of sodium decreased strongly by 84.31 percent in comparison with the previous year, according to data issued by United Nations Statistical Office. Export of cyanides and cyanide oxides of sodium sharply declined from 2 058 507 kilogram to 322 945.81 kilogram, in contrast to the prior year when it went up by 44.13%. It reached its 30-year minimum. The overall changes for the previous 30 years attained a decrease of 63.24%. Moreover, it has had a negative average annual growth rate of 0.37% during the 5 years with a marginal overall increase since the start of observations. It averaged 1 317 382.19 kilogram from 1988 to 2017 and it hit its maximum of 3 279 421 kilogram in 2013.
