Fuel oil consumption in electric power, gas and water production and supply in China: Diminution in 2015

The variable declined by 27.31% compared to the prior year, new statistics from China National Statistical Office display. Fuel oil consumption dropped from 11.79 ten thousand metric ton to 8.57 ten thousand metric ton, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it decreased by 55.1 percent. It's the lowest ever noted since 2000. China saw a decrease of 98.98% in fuel oil consumption during the last 16 years. As well as it has attained a diminution at a 0.28% compound annual growth rate during the last 5 years with a slight overall decline since the start of observations. It averaged 542.25 ten thousand metric ton from 2000 to 2015 and it hit its maximum of 1 475.9 ten thousand metric ton in 2004.
