Export of unbleached kraft paper and paperboard weighing 225 g/m2 or more from Singapore: Increase in 2016

United Nations Statistical Office published that paper export rose sharply by 45.37 percent in comparison with the previous year. The indicator grew greatly from 60 840 kilogram to 88 443 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it climbed by 16.74 percent. Singapore saw an increase of 27.85% in paper export over the past 28 years. Though, it has attained a diminution at a 0.38% compound annual growth rate over the five years with a slight overall growth since the 1989. It averaged 237 503.89 kilogram from 1989 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 947 641 kilogram in 2012 and record low of 5 874 kilogram in 1995.
