New vehicles registrations in Ireland: Drop in 2017

OICA announced that compared to the previous year the variable diminished by 10.4 percent. Vehicle registration went down from 177 719 in 2016 to 159 236 prior year, contrarily to the previous year when it climbed by 17.94 percent. The overall changes for the prior 13 years reached a diminution of 25.49%. Furthermore, it has shown a 0.13% compound average annual growth rate during the last five years with a modest overall fall since the start of time series. It averaged 147 177.38 from 2005 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 236 353 in 2007 and record low of 68 031 in 2009.
