Export of whalebone and horns from Bulgaria decreases in 2016

According to figures released by United Nations Statistical Office, in 2016 export of whalebone and horns went down strongly by 96.15 percent. It shows the all-time low since 1996 as the variable sharply declined from 104 kilogram to 4 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it decreased by 42.54 percent. Bulgaria saw a fall of 99.99% in export of whalebone and horns over the past 21 years. Besides, it has attained a diminution at a 0.4 percent average annual growth rate during the last five years with a negligible overall decline since the start of observations. It averaged 7 555 kilogram from 1996 to 2016 and it reached its maximum of 55 337 kilogram in 1996.
