Import of yarn of synthetic staple fibres not packaged for retail sale to Ireland: Decline in 2016

European Commission published that yarn import went down by 14.51 percent in 2016. The variable fell by 59 940 Euro, in contrast to the previous year when it increased by 16.01%. Ireland saw a diminution of 84.7% in yarn import during the last 14 years. Moreover, it has attained a negative compound annual growth rate of 0.11% over the last 5 years with a marginal overall drop since the 2003. It averaged 607 147.86 Euro from 2003 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 2 309 510 Euro in 2003 and record low of 106 900 Euro in 2011.
