Flax yarn export went down by 12.04 percent compared with the prior year, according to numbers published by European Commission. Flax yarn export diminished by 98 600 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it fell by 9.57%. Hungary saw a fall of 68.77% in flax yarn export over the past 15 years. Furthermore, it has shown a negative compound average annual growth rate of 0.05 percent during the five years with a marginal overall drop since the 2003. It averaged 1 042 506.67 kilogram from 2003 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 2 305 800 kilogram in 2003 and record low of 129 400 kilogram in 2009.
