Import of non-fresh foliage, branches for bouquets to Saint Lucia: Rise in 2016

Flower import strongly increased by 89.82 percent in comparison with the prior year, updated numbers from United Nations Statistical Office indicate. The indicator rose sharply from 501 US Dollar in 2015 to 951 US Dollar previous year, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it climbed by 43.55%. Saint Lucia saw a decline of 95.28% in flower import during the last 25 years. Besides, it has shown a rise at a 0.8 percent CAGR over the last 5 years with a modest overall decrease since the start of observations. It averaged 2 714.24 US Dollar from 1992 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 20 148 US Dollar in 1992 and record low of 3 US Dollar in 2005.
