Export of potato flakes, granules and pellets from Bulgaria: Fall in 2017

Potato export decreased sharply by 96.32% in 2017, revised numbers from United Nations Statistical Office highlight. The indicator fell strongly from 5 430 kilogram in 2016 to 200 kilogram prior year, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it dropped by 62.07%. The overall changes for the prior 22 years reached a decrease of 86.08%. Furthermore, it has shown a negative compound annual growth rate of 0.63% over the 5 years with a modest overall rise since the start of observations. It averaged 12 693.55 kilogram from 1996 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 117 633 kilogram in 2010 and record low of 5 kilogram in 2001.
