Export of potato flakes, granules and pellets from Bulgaria: Decline in 2017

Potato export fell greatly by 96.32 percent in comparison to one year earlier, according to revised statistics released by United Nations Statistical Office. The variable strongly went down from 5 430 kilogram in 2016 to 200 kilogram prior year, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it decreased by 62.07%. Bulgaria saw a diminution of 86.08% in potato export over the past 22 years. Furthermore, it has attained a negative average annual growth rate of 0.63 percent over the last five years with a marginal overall growth since the start of time series. It averaged 12 693.55 kilogram from 1996 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 117 633 kilogram in 2010 and record low of 5 kilogram in 2001.
