Export of tool holders, self-opening dieheads and workholders from European Union decreases in 2016

In 2016 machine tool and equipment export decreased strongly by 32.94%, according to data released by European Commission. The indicator went down greatly by 16 050 492 Euro, versus the previous year when it increased by 12.9 percent. European Union saw an increase of 460% in machine tool and equipment export over the past 7 years. Besides, it has attained the compound annual growth rate of 0.3 percent over the five years with a modest overall rise since the start of observations. It averaged 25 746 993.14 Euro from 2010 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 48 727 432 Euro in 2015 and record low of 5 835 190 Euro in 2010.
