Import of zinc powders and flakes to Tanzania: Decline in 2016

According to numbers announced by United Nations Statistical Office, the indicator barely declined by 3.79 percent in comparison to the prior year. Zinc import negligibly diminished from 4 696 kilogram to 4 518 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it went down by 8.46 percent. The overall changes for the prior 22 years reached an increase of 158.17%. Though, it has had a decrease at a 0.47% average annual growth rate over the five years with a modest overall growth since the start of time series. It averaged 19 601.59 kilogram from 1995 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 112 980 kilogram in 2012 and record low of 597 kilogram in 1996.
