Import of silk yarn except from waste to Latvia goes up in 2016

In comparison to the previous year the variable increased strongly by 85.71%, new numbers from United Nations Statistical Office constitute. Silk import climbed greatly from 14 kilogram to 26 kilogram, compared with the prior year when it declined by 99.92 percent. Latvia saw a drop of 94.8% in silk import over the past 21 years. Likewise, it has attained a diminution at a 0.73% average annual growth rate over the last 5 years with a negligible overall raise since the start of time series. It averaged 5 526.9 kilogram from 1996 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 78 660 kilogram in 2013 and record low of 2 kilogram in 2005.
