Fuel oil demand in Azerbaijan: Decline in June 2018

According to refreshed data released by JODI Data, the indicator decreased strongly by 58.82% compared with the previous month. Fuel oil demand dropped greatly from 17 thousand tonnes to 7 thousand tonnes, in comparison with the prior month when it climbed by 142.86%. In June of the year before, the variable declined by -83.33% and reached 2 thousand tonnes. Between June 2017 and the same month one year later, the numbers demonstrate a 250% variation. Azerbaijan saw a decline of 94.07% in fuel oil demand during the last 16 years. Likewise, the fuel oil demand is now below average of 83.45 thousand tonnes with a moderate overall decrease since the 2002. It attained its all-time high of 319 thousand tonnes in January 2007 and record low of 1 thousand tonnes in August 2016.
