Buses and coaches production in South Africa: Decrease in 2017

In 2017 bus production fell by 11.36 percent, according to new data announced by OICA. The indicator went down by 145, in comparison to the previous year when it went up by 4.08 percent. The overall changes for the prior 18 years reached a growth of 55.57%. However, it has had a negative compound annual growth rate of 0.01 percent during the five years with a modest overall raise since the start of time series. It averaged 1 242.28 from 2000 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 1 859 in 2008 and record low of 727 in 2000.
