European Commission published that in comparison with the prior year flax yarn import greatly climbed by 314.8%. The indicator rose sharply by 21 060 Euro, contrarily to the previous year when it dropped by 14.89 percent. Finland saw a fall of 72.55% in flax yarn import over the past 13 years. Likewise, it has had the compound annual growth rate of 0.08 percent over the 5 years with a slight overall drop since the start of time series. It averaged 36 530.77 Euro from 2005 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 114 750 Euro in 2006 and record low of 6 690 Euro in 2016.
