Import of footwear with upper straps or thongs assembled to the sole by means of plugs to New Zealand goes down in 2017

United Nations Statistical Office announced that the indicator decreased sharply by 34.37 percent compared to the year before. Footwear import greatly declined by 224 168.25 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it went down by 2.02%. The overall changes for the prior 21 years attained a raise of 624.37%. Though, it has shown a negative compound annual growth rate of 0.09% over the 5 years with a modest overall increase since the start of observations. It averaged 355 678.61 kilogram from 1997 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 695 197 kilogram in 2013 and record low of 59 091 kilogram in 1997.
