New vehicles registrations in Mexico: Drop in 2017
According to adjusted figures released by OICA, the variable barely fell by 4.67 percent in comparison with one year earlier. Vehicle registration slightly dropped from 1 647 723 in 2016 to 1 570 764 previous year, in contrast to the prior year when it went up by 18.59%. The overall changes for the previous 13 years hit an increase of 34.42%. Likewise, it has shown a rise at a 0.07 percent average annual growth rate over the last five years with a slight overall raise since the start of observations. It averaged 1 157 491.77 from 2005 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 1 647 723 in 2016 and record low of 775 751 in 2009.
